Training will start in June for Ashe’s new apprentice Peter Smith. He will be working with Ashe plumbing contractor James A Turner and will undertake a four year course.
Gary Hyde of James A Turner said: “We are looking forward to working with Peter who will work on a broad range of our contracts and, when ever possible, on projects we undertake for Ashe Construction. This is likely to focus on special works education projects where he will experience the full range of plumbing disciplines.”
Contracts director Martin Petts says training apprentices is an important responsibility for any contractor today: “We need to encourage young people to join our industry and give them every opportunity to learn, with practical experience, the very latest technologies we employ in our projects. We wish Peter the best of luck for his training.”
Peter will attend Oaklands College in St Albans to support his training
